 StepOut Community Guidelines

  • At StepOut, our mission is to help people connect, live meaningfully, and feel less alone.
    We believe everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and valued while using our platform.
    These guidelines explain what we expect from everyone in the StepOut community.

  • By using StepOut (also known as StepOut Social), or any products of UNIque CnS LTD, you agree to follow these guidelines and our Terms of Service and Safety Standards Against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE).
    Violating these rules may result in removal of content, suspension, or permanent account termination.

  • 1. Be Kind and Respectful

  • We’re here to lift each other up, not tear anyone down.

  • Treat others with kindness — no bullying, harassment, or shaming.

  • Disagreements are fine; personal attacks are not.

  • Respect differences in culture, beliefs, and backgrounds.

  • 2. No Hate or Discrimination

  • StepOut is for everyone.
    We don’t allow hate speech or content that promotes violence or hatred based on:

  • Race or ethnicity

  • Religion or belief

  • Gender, gender identity, or sexual orientation

  • Disability, age, nationality, or any other protected characteristic

  • Any form of hate symbols, slurs, or demeaning stereotypes will be removed immediately.

  • 3. Keep It Safe and Appropriate

  • Help us make StepOut a positive space.

  • Don’t post or share sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise inappropriate content.

  • No nudity or pornographic material.

  • Don’t glorify or encourage self-harm, suicide, or dangerous challenges.

  • Don’t use StepOut to sell or promote weapons, drugs, alcohol, or tobacco.

  • 4. Protect Children and Young People

  • StepOut has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse or exploitation (CSAE).

  • Never share, request, or distribute content that harms or sexualizes minors.

  • Report any suspicious behavior or content immediately via the report button or by emailing hello@stepout.social.

  • Accounts found violating this policy will be reported to law enforcement and permanently banned.

  • 5. Respect Privacy

  • Only post photos, videos, or stories you have the right to share.

  • Don’t share anyone’s personal information (like addresses or phone numbers) without permission.

  • Don’t impersonate others or pretend to be someone you’re not.

  • 6. Keep It Real and Legal

  • Don’t post misleading, spammy, or fraudulent content.

  • Don’t use StepOut to promote scams, pyramid schemes, or illegal activities.

  • Follow all applicable laws in your country and ours (UK).

  • 7. Reporting and Enforcement

  • If you see something that doesn’t feel right:

  • Tap Report on a post or profile to flag it for review.

  • You can also block users directly from their profile page.

  • ​

  • Our moderation team reviews all reports and takes appropriate action promptly.

  • Serious or repeated violations may result in permanent removal from the platform. We actively review reports and take action when necessary. Users can report content or other users directly within the app for reasons such as harassment, inappropriate behavior, or safety concerns. Reported content is reviewed promptly, and accounts may be suspended or removed if they violate these Guidelines or our Terms of Service.

    Every report helps make the app safer for everyone.
